Tampere Christmas Market fills the Central Square with warm and cozy Christmas atmosphere! Little wooden booths are filled with handicrafts, design, jewellery, treats, toys and much more from Finland and abroad. You can also try the delicious dishes and snacks of the cafes and restaurants on the area or enjoy the daily programme. Tampere Christmas Market is like another world in the center of Tampere.
This year the corridors of the market have been widened to make it easier to keep your distance. Safety recommendations and hygiene instructions are prominently displayed in the market. Each cottage also has a security plexiglass between the seller and the customer.
In the beautiful wooden houses you can find shops, boutiques and a cafe with delicious treats, hot beverages and freshly baked goods. Little booths at the yard are filled with quality handicrafts and design. Children will enjoy the pretty carousel in the yard and petting the farm animals in the stable. Father Christmas will be in Ratina on Sundays on Dec 6, Dec 13 and 20 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Saturdays, the Quartet Sonore String Quartet from 1 to 4 p.m.

G Livelab Tampere opens the winter terrace on Friday Dec 4. The glass terrace, which opens onto the shores of Tammerkoski in the yard of the music club, will have six glass-built terrace cottages for customer use. The six-square-meter greenhouse-style terrace cottages allow you to spend the evening in your own group of 2-6 people. The terrace cottages are carefully cleaned and ventilated between each visit.
The first weekend of December 4-5 you can come to the winter terrace without an appointment and the terrace cottage can be used free of charge. From Dec 6 onwards, G Livelab will charge an hourly usage fee of 20 euros.

You can get your hands on these delicious treats at Central Square at the Tampere Christmas Market or at their own cafe at the edge of Central Square. You can also enjoy these treats at their birthplace in Pyynikki Observation Tower. Buy your doughnut and cup of coffee and climb to the top to see the frozen views!
