Frantsila Kehäkukka is a pleasantly natural destination in the beautiful sceneries of Hämeenkyrö, only about 35 kilometers away from Tampere. You can spend a good hour or few in Frantsila, by first enjoying a vegetarian lunch made from clean, fresh ingredients followed by a tasty pastry and herbal tea, and then moving on to the herbal shop with a lot of information about the natural healing products that are available there. You can find also beauty care products, made from natural ingredients of course.
Frantsila is the most popular travel destination in Hämeenkyrö, and for a good reason. The café-restaurant and shop are open all year round, and in the summertime the experience is even better when the herb garden is in full bloom next to the shop. In the garden you get to see and smell the 300 herbs growing there, and learn how they can be used and for what. If the children get bored of herbs already, next to the garden there’s a play are to spend some more time still. In the summertime, the big terrace on the shore of the Pappilanjoki river is open and there are more boutiques opening around the courtyard too. You can also find Hämeenkyrö tourist information there in the summer.
Do you want to organize a lovely girls’ (or boys’) evening, or add some programme to your visit in Hämeenkyrö? You can visit the big organic herb farm and the Frantsila Wellbeing Centre, or try your nose at making your very own scented oil or after shave balm, designed by you.
