Kuninkaankatu 3, Tampere (city centre)
Finlayson manufacturers household textiles with long traditions. The company was founded in 1820 when James Finlayson, a Scottish engineer, established a cotton mill in Tampere. Nowadays the Finlayson area is a historical milieu with wonderful boutiques, restaurants, and an interesting history. Although the Finlayson company shut down its industrial functions in Tampere in the 1980s, there is still a factory boutique in the area. The store has a big selection of e.g. bath and hand towels (spot the Moomin ones!) that remind you of Finland, the land of saunas.
Yrjö-Koskisentie 1, Hämeenkyrö
Frantsila is a pioneer in organic herb farming in Finland, and has been a natural health product manufacturer since 1981. The company produces natural cosmetics from herbs hand-picked from the farm located in Hämeenkyrö. Frantsila’s selection includes hair and face care products, peat treatments and salves. Taking care of your hair and skin is an essential part of the Finnish sauna experience, and Frantsila’s products are great for that purpose.
Frantsila Kehäkukka is located in Hämeenkyrö, approx. 40 kilometers from Tampere city centre. In addition to a sundries shop, Kehäkukka has a café and restaurant open year round. Definitely worth a visit! If you don’t have time to travel to Hämeenkyrö, you can also find Frantsila’s products in Ruohonjuuri, which is located in the Tampere city centre (Hämeenkatu 15, Tampere).

If you happen to go Parkano, located approx. 85 km North from Tampere, have a visit in Kirkkokadun Hyvän Olon Keskus. The wellbeing centre offers different kinds of relaxing sauna experiences and also has a complete selection of the Saunan 7 Salaisuutta products. The natural shampoos, conditioners, skin care products, soaps, sauna aromas and salves are a great addition to sauna bathing and remind you of the Finnish nature.
Viinikankatu 38, Tampere

If you’re in need of easy-to-install lighting solutions for your home sauna, K-Rauta Nekala also retails LEDIFY’s products. LEDIFY is a Finnish lighting company specialized in sauna lighting and some of their products, such as KiuasLED (excellent choice for illuminating e.g. a stone wall behind the heater), are easy to carry home in a luggage.
