The Mältinranta Art Centre run by Tampere commonwealth of artists has been exhibiting quality and up-to-date art since 1983. The centre is widely known outside Tampere and is popular among artists. It also displays the forms of art often overlooked by commercial exhibitions, like installations, videos and audios.
Himmelblau Printmaking Studio is Finland’s leading professional printmaking workroom. The production of artists is exhibited in Himmelblau’s own gallery at the Finlayson factory area by the Tammerkoski rapids.
Galleria Saskia presents high-quality art from Tampere Region, Finland and sometimes from all over the world. Saskia also gives young artists an opportunity to present themselves.
Ronga, a small gallery on the corner of old Ojakatu Street, has Parisian charm. The gallery displays various forms of art. Exhibitions there are changed every three weeks.
The Rajatila Gallery is affiliated with the association of young cultural professionals Rajataide. Modern actual art is presented on two floors for young artists’ exhibitions. The gallery also hosts student exhibitions.
