Helga-neiti (Miss Helga) is the oldest second-hand shop in Tampere, founded in 1976. According to one of its proprietresses, the famous women of the city have brought their elegant outfits to this store. For instance, the famous Finnish cinema and theatre actress Sylvi Salonen has filled Helga-neiti collection with her luxurious dresses and accessories. The prices here vary from 50 cents to 2 000 € (which happens to be the price for the Finnish national costume, something other second-hand stores don’t sell). In-house atelier of hats, fascinators and hair accessories, originally hand-made by the boutique’s owner, make this place special.
Kaunotar ja Kulkuri distinguishes from other second-hand shops in the city by its low prices. All pieces are sorted by the color here for easy browsing. The condition of many clothes doesn’t even hint that they’ve had former owners! NB! The shop will close its doors in the end of June 2020.
Kalevan Kello is an expert watch and goldsmith’s shop in the heart of Tampere. In addition to selling new watches and jewellery, Kalevan Kello specializes in vintage watches and jewellery. The oldest watches in their collection date back to the mid-19th century.
The store has a wide selection of women’s and men’s clothing, shoes, bags, hats, sunglasses… You name it! Most of the clothes are Finnish vintage from the 1950s and 1980s.
