The observation tower of the Vehoniemenharju conservation area is the oldest, dating back to 1927. The top of the ridge rises up to 60 metres above water level. The observation tower is located next to the Vehoniemi Automobile Museum.

The landscape from the top of the tower opens to the southwest of Roinee and the cultural landscape of the Saaremaa villages, where there has been village settlement for hundreds of years. From top you will also see Valkeakoski factories. To the northeast of the observation tower you can see the enchanting landscape of Längelmävesi Heposelä and the enchanting landscape of Raiku village.

There is also a guided nature trails around the Vehoniemi ridge.
