The atmospheric lighting and the experience wall at the Väinö Linna Square bring joy to the darkening evenings of the end of the year! The beautiful factory area has many design and Christmas shops as well as wonderful events also during the Christmas season. While shopping for design products, you can also visit art exhibitions at the Himmelblau Gallery and the Palmroth exhibition, for instance.
You are warmly welcome to enjoy your time at the centre of art and culture.
The Väinö Linna Square will be adorned with Christmas decorations! The Christmas lights, the experiential light artworks projected on the wall of Kuusvooninkinen starting from early evenings as well as the Christmas calendar stories create an atmosphere straight out of a fairy tale. The Christmas Square will be open from 28 November to 6 January between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.
In November and December, there will be as much as four festive pop-up shops in the area.

This Christmas, the Martha Organisation’s Christmas sales will also join the area’s offerings with Finnish handicrafts and Christmas delicacies from 10–11 December on the 4th floor of Väinö Linnan aukio 15.
Little elves will have their own day of entertainment in December!
