The Finnish-Colombian many-sided composer, pianist and conductor Tuomas Turriago offers a recital focusing on key works of the Spanish romantic repertoire, including movements from the much beloved ballet The Three-Cornered Hat by Manuel de Falla, the suite Iberia by Isaac Albeniz and also some music from the magical Catalonian master Federico Mompou. Tuomas Turriago has been one of the leading Finnish pianists for 30 years already, especially in the field of chamber music and, also, a prolific composer with 42 compositions to date, including e.g. two chamber operas and a large amount of chamber music.
