Kaukajärvi Winter Day
An outdoor event for the whole family in the courtyard of Kaukajärvi Leisure Center. The children’s music duo Höpinätötterö performs at 11:30 a.m. and at 1 p.m. Entertainment is also guaranteed by a children’s sledding hill, picture orienteering, a miniature car track indoors, and weather permitting also bow-tie skating and snowmobile riding/€2 round trip. Electric bikes and skis are also on display at the event. For sale there are e.g. coffee, juice, sweet buns, pea soup and grilled sausage. The event is organized by Kaukajärvi local associations, Messukylä parish and Tampere city culture unit.
