Children’s Saturday at the Moomin Museum and Tampere Talo

Viiru and Pesonen puppet shows

Ukko Pesonen lives alone in his cabin without a friend to talk to, until a friendly neighbor gives him a small kitten. Goofy Ukko talks to his cat all day long – and one day the cat will start talking, at least now to Ukko Pesonen. That’s the start of Viiru and Pesonen’s crazy days together, which includes missing screws, a scary badger and, of course, cake. Teatteri Hevosenkenkä’s Viiru and Pesonen deals with friendship and loneliness through familiar characters, eternal themes that are interesting from baby to adult.

Performances at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Tampere talo.

The Moomin museum’s Atelier is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m

In the Atelier of the Moomin Museum, museum visitors can make their own theater. The studio is open all day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The workshops run on a non-stop basis, which means you can join at any time. The workshop is included in the entrance fee of the museum ticket.

Waffle tests

Waffle tests are covered in restaurant Tuhto on Children’s Saturdays from 12 to 3 p.m. People who come to the morning puppet theater show can enjoy waffles after the show, and afternoon theater guests can enjoy waffles before the show.
