The internationally acclaimed music spectacle Paris! The Show now at Tampere Hall!
Created by director Gil Marsalla, Paris! The Show is a tribute to the iconic French songs and cabaret culture of the 20th century. Seen in Finland for the first time, the performance transports the audience to the magical streets of Montmartre and the legendary cabaret stages of Paris, while offering a generous dose of the most beloved post-war French chansons.
If Piaf! The Show highlighted France’s most treasured singer of all time, Édith Piaf, this production also shines the spotlight on other post-war French stars such as Charles Aznavour, Jacques Brel, Yves Montand, Charles Trenet, Josephine Baker, Maurice Chevalier, Lucienne Boyer, and Gilbert Bécaud.
Touring internationally since 2014, Paris! The Show tells the story of young American Emily, who dreams of a bohemian artist’s life in Paris. In Montmartre she befriends waitress Édith Piaf and her friend Charles Aznavour.
