Pentinkulma Literature Festival

The Pentinkulma Literature Festival is a traditional, yet lively literary event held annually in Urjala. A love of books and culture is at the heart of the event, and the programme includes author visits, discussions about current topics as well as theatre and musical performances. The theme of 2023 festival is Peace, as literature has always played a significant role as a builder and lyricist of peace.

The versatile program of the Pentinkulma Literature Festival includes e.g. author interviews, topical speeches, theatre, music and poetry. The event offers moments of insight for industry experts as well as casual Sunday readers. Part of the program is also free of charge, and on Friday even the youngest in the family can dive into the world of words.
