In October, the Finlayson area will be dominated by the modern and exciting light art festival Projio for the whole family. The six-day event amazes with the means of performing light art, using as an expression e.g. lights, video projection.
Projio exhibits light art from six artists bringing light and joy into the midst of the dark autumn. This festival is suitable for the whole family, visit Finlayson area for example during your evening walk in the cantre. You can find artwork both inside and outside in the area.
Along with Projio Tampere Film Festival launches a new VJ competition. The competition works will be seen at Väinö Linna square and the winner will be chosen by public vote. The duration of each video is approximately 3–4 minutes and their soundscape is based on the same track Kaikkeuden kauneus ja käsittämättömyys by ES. VJ Competition works are running non-stop at Väinö Linna square during 21–26 October at 9–10 PM.
The event is free of charge, unobstructed and suitable for all ages.
