The Pirkkala Viking Fair

The Pirkkala Viking Fair invites visitors on a journey back to the Iron Age. The fair held in Pirkkala draws its inspiration from the Viking era and the archaeological discoveries made in the Tursiannotko area.
The programme includes workshops, battle shows, traditional crafts, guided tours, expert lectures and ancient music. The event features also a dedicated programme for children.
Free entry to the event, no age restrictions. Free transport is available for visitors to Reippi from the Pirkkala Ice Rink (Takamaantie 1) remote parking and Suupantori Square in downtown Pirkkala. The transport operates at 20-minute intervals on Sat 9:30–17:15 and on Sun 9:30–16:15.
