Tchaikovsky: Swan Pond
Swan Pond tells the familiar story of Odette, a princess from a distant land, who has been kidnapped by the dreaded wizard Rothbart and bewitched into a swan. Finland has served as a source of inspiration in McAllister’s version, which is strongly based on the tradition of classical ballet.
