Visit Tampere’s hiring: PR and Media Manager

Responsabilities:
- to contact international media, reporters and influencers directly / via PR agencies in our target markets, incl. Germany, Great Britain and Northern Europe
- to organize and host media visits to Tampere region, in collaboration with our partner companies. You may also implement visits for international tour operators.
- to collaborate with Visit Tampere’s partner companies in programme planning
- to develop and execute new ways and strategies to gain visibility for Tampere Region in international media
- to look for potential news items in the field of tourism, but also business ecosystems promoted by Business Tampere, and pitch these forward
- to work in close cooperation with e.g. Tampere region companies, Visit Finland and Business Finland
Requirements:
- earlier experience in the field of international PR or international tourism marketing or other applicable experience
- excellent organizational and project management skills
- ability to manage large projects and develop your job constantly
- higher education degree
- excellent oral and written communication skills in English, good skills in Finnish
- good presentation skills
We also appreciate:
- German and other language skills
- knowledge of Tampere region
