Kuasman Kiäppi

The Kuasman Kiäppi route runs along forest roads and paths, swamps and cliffs, and partly also along local and private roads. The landowners along the route have given their consent to the implementation of the route. In many places, the view opens up to Lake Kuorsumaanjärvi, which is nationally significant and belongs to the Natura 2000 network, and covers an area of approximately 226 hectares. The total length of the route is about 14 km. In addition, there is an additional route of less than two kilometers, called the Lisäkiäppi. Lisäkiäppi is so old, it’s called the magical forest of goblins. It is also possible to travel only a part of a marked route and take advantage of other roads in the area.

It is possible to start from different points on the hiking trail. There are three actual starting points with a signboard: along the main road 44 at the beginning of both Hepokorventie and Pikku-Tyrvääntie and in the northern part of Lake Kuorsumaajärvi near the parking lot of the bird tower on Kakkurilammintie.
