Moomin Museum<\/a><\/h2>\n

Welcome to the Moominhouse!<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>Exhibition offers a glimpse into the Moominhouse (1979), built by Tove Jansson (1914\u20132001), Tuulikki Pietil\u00e4 (1917\u20132009), and Pentti Eistola (1931\u20132022), which is housed in the Moomin Museum. Photographs reveal even the house’s most hidden corners, normally unseen, such as the Moominhouse’s sauna! Encore! Classics and contemporary art from the collections<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>Filling all three floors of the museum this extensive exhibition showcases treasures from the collections of the Tampere Art Museum and the City of Tampere. The display features works by nearly 90 artists, spanning over two centuries from the 1810s to the 2020s. The exhibition is open until 14.6.2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Football World Cup Through the Ages<\/a> \u2013<\/strong> To celebrate the 2026 men’s World Cup, Vapriikki will be taken over by football fever! The exhibition takes us back to the memorable moments of previous women\u2019s and men\u2019s World Cup tournaments.<\/p>\n

Manserock<\/a> \u2013<\/strong> Dive into the phenomenon of Manserock, a celebrated part of Tampere’s musical history! The immersive exhibition explores the movement born in summer 1975 with the tour of Juice Leskinen Coitus Int. and Alwari Tuohitorvi. This phenomenon swept across Finland, gaining immense popularity in the following decade and leaving a lasting mark on Finnish music. The exhibition is open until 31.12.2026.<\/p>\n

Rajakatse – Three Decades of Live Action Role-Playing<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>The exhibition explores Finland\u2019s longest-running live-action role-playing game, which began in 1995. Its fantasy world draws inspiration from medieval Europe. The exhibition is on view until 2.8.2026.<\/p>\n

Erik Bruun’s Birds<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong><\/b>The exhibition showcases beloved graphic designer Erik Bruun\u2019s bird-themed postage stamps and brings together nearly 200 bird illustrations. The exhibition is open until 16.8.2026.<\/p>\n

Police Museum<\/a><\/h2>\n

Maijas and M\u00f6rk\u00f6s<\/a> \u2013 <\/b><\/strong>What were “whipping cars”? When did police beacons change to blue? This special exhibition\u00a0<\/strong>showcases a diverse range of police vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, scooters, and snowmobiles. The exhibition is open until 4.12.2027.<\/p>\n

Art Crime Cases<\/a> \u2013 <\/b><\/strong>The exhibition presents the pre-trial investigation of art crimes in Finland and shows how ordinary people have fallen victim to them. The exhibition is open until the end of 2027.<\/p>\n

The Finnish Labour Museum Werstas<\/a><\/h2>\n

Kalle Kaihari’s Life<\/strong> \u2013 <\/b><\/strong>The exhibition explores the dramatic and colourful life of a legendary Finnish commercial counsellor, alongside the growth and development of Tampere. The exhibition is on view until 10.1.2027.<\/p>\n

Museum Milavida<\/a><\/h2>\n

Man -\u202f Lad, Dandy,Gentleman<\/strong><\/a> \u2013<\/b><\/strong> Come and explore men’s fashion. Exhibition showcases the building blocks of the modern man through clothing and fashion. It shows the elements through which masculinity has been constructed and shaped over time. The exhibition will be available until 21.3.2027.<\/p>\n

Finnish Museum of Car and Road Mobilia<\/a>, Kangasala<\/h2>\n

Ape Farm<\/b><\/a> \u2013 <\/b><\/strong>At the exhibition, you can observe the fascinating way the Japanese Honda Monkey evolved to survive our cold climate and strict regulations. The exhibition runs until 19.4.2026.<\/p>\n

From the Land of the Rising Sun<\/a> \u2013 <\/b><\/strong>This small-scale exhibition presents ten different perspectives on Japanese cars. Early on, there were strong doubts about how well Japanese vehicles would withstand Finland\u2019s conditions, but the first Toyotas and Isuzus quickly dispelled those concerns and the rest is history.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Back to the 90s<\/a> \u2013 <\/b><\/strong>Immerse into decade of transformation through its vehicles and cultural phenomena. The exhibition takes visitors on a journey to celebrate Finland\u2019s Ice Hockey World Championship victory, browse flea markets, and explore changes in the car trade.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Stiina Saaristo<\/strong>: Always Happy<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 <\/b><\/strong>The retrospective exhibition portrays the pain points of human life with a wide range of emotions, without forgetting humour.<\/b><\/strong> The exhibition is on view until 12.4.2026.<\/p>\n

Milja Viita: People on Sunday<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u2013<\/b><\/strong> The film installation explores the inevitability of the passage of time, the cyclical nature of history, and the fragility of life. Does humanity learn anything from history, or are we doomed to repeat the same mistakes over and over again? The exhibition runs until 3.5.2026.<\/p>\n

Agnes Meyer-Brandis: As Trees Go By<\/strong> <\/a>\u2013 <\/b><\/strong>The Exhibition invites the audience to a multisensory interaction with trees. The video work is on display until 3.5.2026.<\/p>\n

Serlachius Headquarters<\/h3>\n

Viljami Heinon: Somewhere in Between<\/a> \u2013<\/b><\/strong> Artist’s new paintings take the viewer to a deserted urban milieu, where people encounter themselves and others who have been battered by life. The exhibition is on open until 30.8.2026.<\/p>\n

Anssi Kasitonni: Below Zero Finnish Art Award<\/a> \u2013 <\/b><\/strong>Broken telephone is a fitting metaphor for Anssi Kasitonni\u2019s way of working, where one image leads to another in unexpected ways. The exhibition is on view until 30.8.2026.<\/p>\n

The exhibition merges the strength, richness, harmony, and sacred feeling inspired by personal experiences of the forest with subconscious fantasies. Viljami Viskari: Rose and Dagger<\/a> \u2013 <\/b><\/strong>Hearts, skulls, snakes and crosses are all familiar symbols decorating both people\u2019s skin and the walls of tattoo shops. This exhibition brings the colorful and historic of traditional tattooing to an audience that might never have the courage to step into a traditional tattoo shop.
