Sara Hildén Art Museum

Sara Hildén Art Museum is dedicated to modern art and situated in Särkänniemi Adventure Park. In other words, it’s ideal to combine with a day out on the rides! The museum is open all year round and always features either a current exhibition or a selection of the museum’s collections.

Hiekka Art Museum

Hiekka Art Museum showcases mainly Finnish art from 1850´s to present and foreign art from 1630-1910. The collections include almost 400 works of art, including e.g. Works by Ferdinand von Wright and Magnus Enckell. The collection also includes antique furniture, silver objects and articles of ethnographic value.

Art Centre Purnu

Art Centre Purnu is situated in Orivesi, an idyllic town in Tampere Region. Open only on summers, the art centre gathers together work from interesting modern artists from Finland and abroad under a yearly theme. In addition to unique quality art, visitors can enjoy the Finnish nature and try e.g. a traditional smoke sauna.

Emil Aaltonen Museum

The Emil Aaltonen Museum functions in the beautiful manor house of Pyynikinlinna, built in the early 1900s. The visitor will learn about Emil Aaltonen as a private person, businessman and a patron of national culture and science as well as enjoy his vast private art collection.
