Air Force Band feat. Randy Brecker (USA)

World-class jazz trumpeter as a soloist of a grandiose big band.

Randy Brecker is among the most notable jazz trumpeters in the world. His career began in the late 1960s when Brecker played in the Clark Terry Big Band and Thad Jones Jazz Orchestra, among others. In 1967, he joined the band Blood, Sweat and Tears. Randy’s first solo album, released in 1968, also featured his 19-year-old brother, saxophonist Michael Brecker.

The band Brecker Brothers was founded in 1975. Their first album featured Randy’s now-classic song Some Skunk Funk that hit the jackpot when it was released. The band released in all six albums during 1975–1981.

In Tampere Hall, you will hear all the greatest hits of the 73-year-old Randy Brecker but also some less famous pieces. You will be in for an unheard of review of everything from Brecker Brothers music to Bing Band music skillfully accompanied by the Air Force Band.
