Mark your calendars: the next MUKAMAS 2026 – International Puppet Theatre Festival will be held at Tampere 16.–20.9.2026.

Teatteri Mukamas has organised the international puppet theatre festival in Tampere since 1999. The festival is held biannually.

Organized for the 14th time, the festival gathers on the Tampere stages, in addition to national professional puppet theatres, the best in their field from around the world. The programme will consist of both traditional and modern puppet, object and visual theatre. The festival has events for both children and adults – for everyone who is interested, regardless of age.
