Niihaman Ulkoilumaja’s Camping Site

Camping site in the heart of nature and close to activities.

We offer camping opportunities all year round in a sandy parking area next to a variety of sports and leisure opportunities.

The camping site is located along the Kauppi illuminated outdoor trail, on the shore of Lake Niihamajärvi, at the Niihaman Ulkoilumaja.

The Niihaman Ulkoilumaja’s operations include café services, sauna services and campfire pit services.

The public sauna heats up all year round every Tuesday and Thursday at 4-7 pm. You can also swim in the lake and, in winter, take a dip in Niihamajärvi lake. At other times, the sauna can be booked for private use.

There is also a barbecue hut in the yard of the lodge, as well as two open fire pits, for which wood can be purchased from the Niihaman Ulkoilumaja.

The Kauppi illuminated outdoor trail passes by the Niihaman Ulkoilumaja, which serves as a ski trail in winter. In addition, a nature trail and a marked mountain bike trail start from the Ulkoilumaja.

In the summer, you can find summer animals in the yard of the Ulkoilumaja.

There is a public toilet in the area, which is open according to the opening hours of the Niihaman Ulkoilumaja. Parking in the motorhome park is free of charge.
