Accessibility of digital services

This accessibility statement explains how the visittampere.fi website complies with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services, what accessibility issues the site has, and how you can provide us with feedback on accessibility issues.

The Visit Tampere website features business-specific information aimed at tourists, with links leading directly to each business’s own website. The businesses themselves are responsible for the accessibility of the websites linked to from Visit Tampere, and accessibility is described in each business’s own accessibility statement.

State of accessibility

The Visittampere.fi website largely meets the AA and A level accessibility criteria required by law (WCAG 2.2).

The YouTube channel managed by Visit Tampere contains video content published before 23 September 2020 that is not in a fully accessible format. Under the law, video content published before 23 September 2020 does not need to be made accessible retrospectively or removed.

The Visit Tampere image bank at www.tampere.pic.fi complies with accessibility criteria. The image bank is updated on an ongoing basis, so if you notice any issues, please contact Visit Tampere by email at visittampere(at)visittampere.fi

Supervisory authority

The Digital Accessibility Supervision Unit at the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom) monitors compliance with accessibility requirements.
