The Visit Tampere website and social media content are primarily aimed at travelers and tourists. The content is based on editorial guidelines and traveler-related relevance. The website and social media channels highlight current attractions, services, events, and phenomena that are of interest to travelers.
A company’s own website should serve as an up-to-date and primary source of information on, for example, services, opening hours, prices and events.

The publication of content is always subject to editorial discretion and depends on the suitability of the content for the website and social media channels, as well as for Visit Tampere’s target audiences. We cannot guarantee that all suggestions will be published.
Company and product profiles on the Visit Tampere website (DataHub)
The Visit Tampere website utilizes Visit Finland’s DataHub database for travel companies, through which product cards from the most travel-relevant companies in the Pirkanmaa region are featured on the website. Registering to DataHub is free of charge for businesses.
Companies registering to DataHub must have their own website. In the Pirkanmaa region, an English-language DataHub product card can be published if the company’s website is also available in English.
Please note that registering with DataHub does not automatically guarantee visibility on the Visit Tampere website. Features are always subject to editorial discretion.
Events
Visit Tampere does not maintain its own events calendar. The events displayed on the website are imported as an automatic feed City of Tampere’s events calendar, based on selected category filters.
The City of Tampere is responsible for maintaining the events calendar. Visit Tampere is not responsible for maintaining the details of individual events or their visibility on the website.
