Go and SUP!

SUPpaa Tampere organises excellent experiences on SUP boards (SUP=standing up paddling). SUPpaa Tampere offers courses, rents equipment and from the guided activitites you can find for example SUP yoga and nightless nights’ tours. In the summertime, you can find SUP at the Pyynikki swimming beach and the activities concentrate on the Pyhäjärvi side of the city.

You can also rent out SUP boards on the beach of Rauhaniemi in Tampere. Courses are also available as well as other rental gear.

Rent a jet ski or try a flyboard

Tampereen Vesijettivuokraus rents out jet skis, wakeboards and SUP boards, water skis or even a floating sauna on the pier! The rental is located in Hatanpää, at Tampere Soutukeskus rowing centre, and they also organize flyboarding.

Water Action Park organizes flyboarding classes for groups and rent water jets (only booking in advance).

Flow with the River

Discover the joy of riverfloating with Koskikellujat in Kuokkalankoski, Lempäälä! Picture this: you, snug in a drysuit, gently floating along a 1.8 km stretch of river. Drift through both the thrilling rapids and the serene sections of a calm lake. It’s the perfect recipe for a truly chill experience!

With Koskikellujat you can also try out the water ball – a transparent ball filled with air big enough for a person to get into and walk or run in – allowing you to experience the water element from a different point of view.

Canoes, kayaks and rowing boats

If you’re looking for something a bit more serene to do, there are also traditional canoes, kayaks and rowing boats available in Tampere. Hiking Travel Hit rents canoes and kayaks ranging from the smaller squirt kayak to big canoes. Tres Hombres have a selection of single kayaks for rent from a couple of hours to even a week.
