Tampere Hall is a renowned house of experiences and the venue for nearly one thousand different events, meetings and concerts each year. Tampere Hall has been named the best conference hall in Finland seven times and its 31 000 m² (333 681 ft²) offer versatile and adaptable spaces for corporate events both big and small. The conference hall also encompasses the restaurant Tuhto and the Tampere Hall Shop with an offer of interesting souvenirs. The restaurant can cover various celebrations and cocktail parties and also cater to fairs and exhibition spaces as required. The kitchen focuses on local and organic food and fuses local delicacies with international cuisines. The vegetables and honey produced in Tampere Hall’s own ceiling garden are local food in the truest sense.
The Tampere Hall also houses the world’s only Moomin Museum and the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, which is the only complete symphony orchestra in Finland outside of the Helsinki metropolitan area. As of the beginning of 2020 the offering of Tampere Hall has also included hotel services when the hotel Courtyard by Marriot Tampere City with 229 rooms and 11 floors opened right next to the building. This is the only hotel that is directly connected to the Tampere Hall Conference and Concert center.
The 1 500 m² (16 100 ft²) exhibition area offers a functional space for a wide variety of corporate events and exhibits. Tampere Hall began its operations in 1990 and the professionals working there have decades of experience with event organisation. In addition to the functional spaces, the success of your event is ensured by security that meets international standards. Tampere Hall also has its own business licence in the field of security. To ensure the success of corporate events, Tampere Hall offers 20 different spaces and auditoriums for parties, meetings and training sessions with 20–2000 participants. The total capacity of the building is 5 000 persons. The capacity of the main auditorium alone is over 1 950 persons. In addition to event-specific customisation of the interior, the entire exterior surface of the conference hall can be brought to life with impressive lighting in the colours of your event, complete with the right insignia. The atmosphere of the event can also be relayed further with high-quality live streaming or recording technologies. Tampere Hall’s own event unit Events Tampere and its in-house conference office, Tavicon, are there to assist you with practical event arrangements, such as check-ins and interpreting. Tampere Hall’s museum and concert offering can bring a side of culture and luxury to any business event.
Tampere Hall is pioneer in responsibility work. Its first environmental program was drawn up as early as the early 1990s, and in 2019 the property achieved carbon neutrality. In 2014, Tampere Hall was the first Nordic congress hall to receive the Swan Label, the official Nordic Ecolabel. Tampere Hall is also committed to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals Program, which combines social, economic and environmental responsibility.
