How do I pay for my tram journey?
You can pay for your journey in several different ways: using the Nysse Mobile app, a travel card, contactless payment or a pre-paid single-journey ticket. All tickets must be validated each time you board the tram. Further information can be found on Nysse website.
Where can I park my car?
You can find information on car parks and parking charges on Finnpark website(only in Finnish). Information about parking in Tampere is also available on city’s website.
Where can I store my luggage?
Lockers of various sizes are available at Tampere railway station. You can also find smaller lockers at the Ratina and Koskikeskus shopping centres. If you need to store larger items, such as bicycle or a stroller, there is a flexible storage service available near the railway station. Read more here.

Where can I find your tourist information?
In summer 2026, Visit Tampere’s tourist information is located at the City Hall at Aleksis Kiven katu 14-16 C. Tourist information is open on weekdays between 9-16 until 28.8.

Where can I get cycling maps of the city?
The City of Tampere’s cycling maps are available online here. Printed maps are also available at the City Hall customer service at Aleksis Kiven katu 14-16 C.
Where can I get a map of Tampere?
You can pick up maps of Tampere from Tampere Market Hall, next to Pullapuoti Wilenius (Hämeenkatu 19) or at the City Hall customer service (Aleksis Kiven katu 14-16 C). Maps are also available for example at hotels.
