Handicraft Store Verkaranta

At the end of Verkatehtaankatu the handicraft store Verkaranta sells yarn and handicraft products from Pirkanmaa. Verkaranta also has an interesting LankaOutlet. Upstairs is the Taito Center, where you can experience the joy and experience of making crafts, as well as a small Parvi Gallery with craft exhibitions. Taito Shop is also located there nowadays. The shop is filled with Finnish design and handicrafts, so make sure to pop in!

Kehräsaari boutiques

On the other side of Tammerkoski, in Kehräsaari, there is a “Craft Quarter – Kehräsaari Shop”. Customers are served by artisan entrepreneurs who are knowledgeable about both the products and their makers.

Aleksis Kiven katu street

At the Aleksis Kivi Street you can explore many wonderful specialty shops; not forgetting interior design, domestic design and lifestyle shops, cafes and wellness and cultural services. This is Tampere’s SoHo! Along the street are, among other things Palmroth, Lili, Alex Lifestyle, Riiminka & Aleksiina Design, Pura and Pispala Clothing.

Miela Designroom

At Hämeenkatu 20 you will find Miela Designroom, which is a Finnish design store. There are products for sale for women, men, children and home. The store always has about 30 Finnish brands at a time. The selection is renewed monthly.

Humbugi

Humbugi designs and manufactures custom accessories. The leather of Humbug’s bag may come from the surplus of the elevator renovation at a hotel in Moscow, as well as the shoe factory’s years-old specimen skins. The products are completed from design and procurement of materials to the finished product in the Hiedanranta area in Tampere.
