The Tampere Festival of Light will be opened in Koskipuisto on Friday, 24 October, at 7:00 PM.

The event will feature performances by Hanna Pakarinen and Samuli Edelman. The opening speech of the Festival of Light will be given by Mayor Ilmari Nurminen, and the event will be hosted by Matilda Wirtavuori.

The evening will culminate in the traditional Dancing Waters show, enchanting audiences with its vivid colors and music in Koskipuisto for ten consecutive nights from 24 October to 2 November. On the opening night, the shows will take place at the end of the celebration at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. From 25 October to 2 November, the performances can be enjoyed hourly at 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:00 PM.

This year, Dancing Waters draws its inspiration from the world of film and television. Each performance lasts approximately 8–12 minutes.
