Welcome to the Lenin Museum!

The Finnish Lenin Museum in Tampere has a unique story, and a unique place in history. This is where Lenin and Stalin met for the first time, during a secret meeting of the Bolsheviks in December 1905. In these very same rooms you can now visit the Lenin Museum. The exhibition tells the history of Finland and the Soviet Union from the beginning of the 20th century all the way to the end of the Soviet Union and today’s Putin ruled Russia. The Lenin Museum is both entertaining and serious, truly an experience that makes you laugh, cry, think and question – just like a good theatre show.

Lenin Museum will be closed on the 3rd of November 2024 but The Museum of Finnish-Russian Relations Nootti continues with the thrilling history in the same premises. The new political museum opens on the 15 th of February 2025.
