Tim’s pine tree is possibly the oldest pine tree in Pirkanmaa. Based on drilling, it is about 400 years old. Timi’s pine probably served as a sacred tree for the ancient Finns. It is known that Timi pine was believed to help with toothache.

The gum of the sore tooth was dug with a stick until blood started to flow. After that, the stick was hit on the pine stem, giving strength to the pine tree and taking the toothache away. It is said that bear skulls and multi-colored ribbons were also found on its branches, which suggests sacrifice.
