Sledding Hill, Snow Cannon, and Ski Trails

Sorola is home to a sledding hill maintained by the city of Kangasala, which has become one of the winter hotspots in Kangasala. Safety, maintaining distance, and appropriate speed are essential in a crowded sledding hill. It’s advisable to wear a helmet and sled at a suitable speed according to your skills and age.

Skiers are spoiled for choice in Kangasala, with well-maintained ski trails available throughout the winter. The Sorola area offers various ski trails: a practice and children’s halter track, a competition track, and a first snow track.
