The Puppet Theater Hupilainen, located in Kangasala, started its operations in 1984 and is one of the most active amateur puppet theaters in Finland. The theater’s home stage is the charming Parvula Theater in Kangasala, which can accommodate an audience of 50. In addition to performances, puppetry-related courses are held at the theater. There are 1-2 premieres produced each year.
Hupilainen Puppet Theater has also always operated as a touring theater, and performances can be booked for schools, daycares, libraries, and various events.
