Kimmo Pyykkö Art Museum is located in the very heart of the Kangasala Town, only 20 minutes from Tampere. The art museum hosts three contemporary, high level art exhibitions every year. It is named by the sculptor, professor Kimmo Pyykkö. His permanent exhibition “The Long Distance Atelier” is on the third floor of the museum. There are also several happenings for various audiences every year in the Kimmo Pyykkö Art Museum.

We offer free tours in Finnish every Sunday at 1 pm. Guided tours in English and in Finnish are available for groups at request.
