The Artcenter is located in a former water refinery, in a brick building next to Tammerkoski rapids and the Finlayson area. It houses two galleries, which exhibit contemporary Finnish art with more than 30 exhibitions a year. In the building there is also a collection of local art for sale, where the artwork from artists of the Tampere Artists’ Association are represented.
