Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) is a free programme developed by Visit Finland to help tourism businesses and destinations build sustainable tourism. The programme provides a clear step-by-step path and practical tools for developing responsible practices. Businesses and destinations that meet the criteria can receive the STF label, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable tourism.
Mobilia is situated on a beautiful lakeshore in Kangasala, some 20 kilometers (13 miles) from the city of Tampere. The museum has two exhibitions halls: in the Mobilia Center there is a permanent exhibition of Finnish road history, an annually changing theme exhibition and the Rally Museum, in the Fenno Galleria you will find classic vintage cars.
In the summer time the traffic park instructs children on correct traffic behavior. They can also try digging with a hydraulic excavator. There is a café that serves lunch, a museum shop and a beach next to the museum building.
