The health protection authority regularly monitors the water quality at the following public beaches in Kuhmoinen: Kirkonkylä Beach, Kalholanniemi, Kokonniemi, Rekola, and Tehin Hiekka, through scheduled water testing.
The main beach is in the center of Kuhmoinen with children’s swimming area near the shore and a 25-meter swim zone between the piers extending from the cross pier. The swimming area also includes diving platforms at 5 m, 3 m, and 1 m heights.
The changing cabins and maintenance building are shared with the adjacent sports field.
The other beaches, except for Tehin Hiekka, have small piers. All beaches are equipped with changing cabins.
