Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) is a free programme developed by Visit Finland to help tourism businesses and destinations build sustainable tourism. The programme provides a clear step-by-step path and practical tools for developing responsible practices. Businesses and destinations that meet the criteria can receive the STF label, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable tourism.
This experience includes the Roofwalk Finlayson Roof Walk and a coffee-and-bun moment served on the Finlayson rooftop — right beneath the iconic Finlayson sign.

Roof Walk is a unique experience that showcases Tampere from a new perspective. The route on top of the city include stunning sights and historical stories. On the route the participants will travel as one group with a guide, and they’re attached to a safety harness that connects to a wire. You’ll experience the city from an all-new point of view, starting from the iconic Tammerkoski rapid view, heading towards the central squares. As you admire the view, you’ll hear historical and surprising stories about Tampere.
