The Laukko concert cruise is a wonderful experience that brings together lake travel and live music in the stunning manor surroundings of Laukko. M/S Silver Moon departs from Tampere’s Laukontori on concert days at 15:15. The ship arrives in Laukko at 17:30, the concert begins around 18:30, and the return trip to Tampere departs at 21:00. The ship also stops at the Rantaniitty pier on both the outbound and return journeys, where passengers may board as well.
If the concert ends after 21:00, the ship will wait until the performance is over and depart for Tampere immediately afterwards. Please keep this in mind when planning onward connections.
These cruises also carry a touch of history: Laukontori itself was named after the Laukko steamboat, which operated between Laukko Manor and Tampere’s lower harbour in the 1860s.
