Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) is a free programme developed by Visit Finland to help tourism businesses and destinations build sustainable tourism. The programme provides a clear step-by-step path and practical tools for developing responsible practices. Businesses and destinations that meet the criteria can receive the STF label, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable tourism.
Sappee has hundreds of accommodation options in cabins and an apartment hotel. There is also a large caravan area.
Cabins
From cosy cabins to big modern villas, Sappee has many varieties of accommodation.
Sappee Chalets
Modern apartments with saunas, balconies and kitchens. The Chalet prices include final cleaning, bed linen and towels. Easy solution for families, small friend groups and couples. The apartments are for 1-5 persons.
Camping
The popular, year-round caravan park area is located on the top of Sappeenvuori hill. For many, the area has become a second home where they come for weekends and holidays throughout the year.
Restaurants Huippu and Vohveli are right next door, and the slopes are also easily accessible within a short walking distance.
Sappee is one of the largest caravan parks in the country and has been SF-Caravan’s recommended winter park for years.
The area offers plenty of pitches for caravans and a high-quality service building with over 300 m² of saunas, spacious toilets and dish washing areas. Next to the caravan area is a hut and a shed with firewood. So why not bring your own snacks and sit around a cosy fire tonight?
