The programme provides a clear step-by-step path and practical tools for developing responsible practices. Businesses and destinations that meet the criteria can receive the STF label, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable tourism.
Peek under the surface and get to know the wonders of the underwater world while keeping your feet dry. More than twenty aquarium pools are home to two hundred species of fish from around the world. We have both native Finnish fishes and colorful species from around the world. The Aquarium also has reptiles such as lizards, snakes, turtles and caimans. There are also amphibians such as the yellow poison frogs and axolotls to be found at the Aquarium. The swimming, crawling and jumping inhabitants of Särkänniemi Aquarium are waiting for your visit!
