Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) is a free programme developed by Visit Finland to help tourism businesses and destinations build sustainable tourism. The programme provides a clear step-by-step path and practical tools for developing responsible practices. Businesses and destinations that meet the criteria can receive the STF label, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable tourism.
Would it be nice to stay overnight like in a big playhouse instead of a cabin at a camping site? The Satukurki Cabin is available nearby the B&B Kommee Kurki vacation house, and it provides capacity for 4 people. You can rent this cabin as an additional space for the house or as an individual simple accommodation. The season is from May until autumn.
Satukurki Cabin is decorated playfully and it reminds you a bit of a fairytale woods. The cabin has about 20 m² of continuous room space. In addition, there is a covered terrace of about 2 x 4,5 metres. The cabin is located in the corner of the garden, next to the forest with a field view. There is a campfire site with seating area in front of the cabin.
You can also bring a pet or two to this cabin for extra fee.
In the Satukurki Cabin there are two 90 cm wide bunk beds with pillows and quilts, a fridge, coffee machine, water kettle, a hotplate, microwave oven, drinking water tank and two radiators. There is an outhouse/eco toilet with hand washing station and you can have a shower in the tiny carriage sauna. The Wi-Fi is available for free.
In the cabin there are a dining table with chairs, a baby high-chair, some dishes and a couch. One baby travel cot is available.
You can rent the cabin without bed linen or if you don’t want to bring those from home, you can rent those from us.
