Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) is a free programme developed by Visit Finland to help tourism businesses and destinations build sustainable tourism. The programme provides a clear step-by-step path and practical tools for developing responsible practices. Businesses and destinations that meet the criteria can receive the STF label, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable tourism.
Tampere Hall is one of the largest cultural and congress centres in the Nordic countries, located in the heart of Tampere, Finland’s third-largest city. Its versatile spaces accommodate everything from small meetings and seminars to international congresses, exhibitions, gala dinners and large-scale events.
Tampere Hall offers a wide range of adaptable spaces for corporate events of different types and sizes. The Main Auditorium accommodates up to 1,800 people, while the Small Auditorium has 488 seats. The versatile Park Hall hosts seminars for up to 700 guests and is also well suited for exhibitions, gala dinners and receptions. Maestro combines flexible event facilities with a full-width, almost nine-metre-high landscape window overlooking Sorsapuisto Park.
Whether you are planning a meeting, training event, congress, exhibition, corporate celebration or other business event, the spaces can be adapted to suit different formats and requirements. Tampere Hall also offers event catering and technical services, and the Courtyard by Marriott Tampere City hotel is directly connected to the venue.
Tampere Hall has held the Nordic Swan Ecolabel since 2014. The ecolabel sets strict environmental criteria for areas including energy and water use, food, waste, chemicals and procurement. Sustainability work at Tampere Hall also covers social and economic responsibility alongside environmental actions.
