The international mega-festival Tampere City Festival will take place on 8–9 August!

In August, a new international mega-festival will arrive at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre, with US rap sensation Timbaland, one of the world’s most famous rap artists, British electro duo Hurts, drum and bass favourites Rudimental and Dutch EDM duo Dash Berlin as the main foreign headliners. Tampere City Festival will also see a host of top Finnish artists and other foreign stars take to the stage, almost 50 in total.

Indica, Kemopetrol, Kymppilinja, Mighty44, Movetron, Uniklubi, Skandaali, Waldo’s People, Pikku G, Technicolour and Aikakone will offer their own #THROWBACKBOX stage with homegrown comebacks and nostalgia.

Tampere City Festival is the sister event of the Helsinki City Festival, which was successfully held in Helsinki last summer. In line with the tried and tested concept, it will feature successful artists from the 1990s to the present day, with a range of experiences and services.

In addition to a unique musical experience, the festival will also focus on a diverse are programme. There will also be a wide range of food and beverage offerings, making the festival experience international in overall quality.
