Eliander, or as the locals might say, Onkiniemi beach is situated a bit outside the city centre, close to Särkänniemi amusement park, on lake Näsijärvi. The kids will love the newly built playground, dogs have their own park to run around in and there’s some nice lawn area to enjoy your picnic. There’s also an ice cream kiosk on the beach in the summertime! The beach has changing cubicle, toilet and pier. During summertime it is advisable to use public transport or park cars to the Särkänniemi parking area due to small amount of parking space in the area.
