1. Museums

There are many museums in Tampere for everyone and for all ages. For example the Moomin Museum is an excellent destination for the whole family to spend the whole day. At Spy Museum you can test your skills as an agent, or get familiar with biographies of some famous spies. In Vapriikki Museum Centre you’ll get to visit many museums at the same time!

2. Wall climbing

Climbing is for everyone and for all ages! Irti Maasta climbing centre offers a safe environment for adrenaline filled activity and dizzy heights.

3. Room escape games

Room escape games are the most recent hit in group activities. Tampere already has many different companies offering the service – like Room Escape, Mysteeri Tampere and WayOut Tampere. Altogether they offer seven different “puzzles” (i.e. rooms) to solve. Time is running out and you need to open a lock using clues for number combination to get out. Feeling the pressure yet?

4. Indoor minigolf, bowling and billiards

Entertainment Centre Crazy’s mini-golf has 16 lanes, all with different themes: rock’n’roll, wild west, mystic Egypt, junkyard, superheros… Crazy Golf also features curling.

Bucket bar & minigolf is a new type of game arena that offers several different options for several age groups and is a colorful and bright entertainment center filled with games, where you can try e.g. two amazing 10-hole mini golf routes, UV ping-pong, table curling and much more. New 2 dartboards.

Hohtogolf West Coast presents a new style of indoor mini-golf in Europe. Our purpose built mini-golf tracks with neon lights and other special effects produce a cool, fun and exciting environment to play in the dark, whether with a group of friends or on your own as a single player. The center comprises 15 amazing mini-golf courses, four of them in a so-called horror area, that will either make you laugh or scream depending of your age and state of mind.

Space Bowling & Billiards is an entertainment oasis and a recreation centre. Space has 8 lanes for bowling and 13 billiards tables. Space is lit up with colourful lights and the music gets you to right mood for fun!

5. Meet furry friends

Are you in need of a furry friend? The best medicine for that is to visit Finland’s first cat café, Cat Café Purnauskis, where you can meet and stroke many cats. Did you know you can also spend the night at the cat café?

6. Trampolin Park and laser games

Book a time from Trampolin Park Wild for your family, friends, or just for you! Trampolin Park Wild has three different areas: a trampoline park with several different trampolines for jumping, tricks and games, an adventure park with more than 70 different adventure trails, and a climbing park with the highest climbing wall in Tampere with self-supporting equipment.

Laser games – step into the future’s playground! Speed and adrenaline are not lost here, when you battle your friends on a city battle arena. Completely safe and suitable for nearly all ages. There are two places to try your skills at city war in Tampere: ZBase at the Finlayson area and Megazone in Tullintori shopping centre.

7. Näsinneula observation tower

Näsinneula, Finland’s tallest building, is open with restricted hours. See the whole city from above and enjoy a cup of coffee, or a three-course meal!

8. Spa

Willing to go further than Tampere? Spa Hotel Scandic Eden Nokia, 15 minute drive from Tampere to Nokia, is an all inclusive spa resort by a beautiful lake. Water slides, wave pools, hot tubs, waterfalls… This spa is worth leaving the city centre for!

Spa Hotel Holiday Club Tampereen Kylpylä is located in the central city of Tampere, in the Lapinniemi district by a beautiful lake Näsijärvi. The Spa hotel is built into a century-old cotton mill that has been renovated and modernised to meet the needs of spa guests.

9. Shopping

Shopping centres in Tampere and region offer fun things to do for the whole family, great cafés and restaurants. Make sure you check out Ratina Shopping Centre in the heart of Tampere and and also Ideapark in Lempäälä, 15 min drive from Tampere.

10. To the toystore!

The Little Toy Store, Tampereen Pieni Lelukauppa in Tampere is actually the biggest toy shop in Finland! It is located in Hämeenkatu street. The toy store has a wide selection of toys and games. Despite its name, The Little Toy Store  is the largest toy shop in Finland. There’s also another one located in the Stockmann department store!
