Bonker Moodcourt at Tampere railwaystation has two restaurants: Tacos ‘n’ Tequila offers mexican food, and HOAX has a fast casul -style foods – all vegan. Their list includes cauliflower wings, hamburgers and snickercake. There is also a cocktailbar/nightclub.

Traditional vegetarian restaurant Gopal has been serving food in the Tammela district of Tampere already since 1997. The Gopal trademark is their versatile Indian influenced vegetarian lunch buffet prepared from fresh ingredients. The Café Gopal is located in Kuninkaankatu.

Tampere’s first Meze-restaurant Zeytuun located in two different locations in Tuomiokirkonkatu and Kuninkaankatu offers tasty dishes inspired by the Middle East. The restaurant has been praised on the decor, beautiful dishes and fresh tastes.

Nanda Devi is an atmospheric Indian restaurant in the heart of city. It offers pure, spicy and filling Indian food with affordable prices.

Bistro Venla is a café/restaurant located in the city centre. Venla´s specialty are their delicious salads and they have paid a lot of attention to special diets. You can find many sweet and savory dishes both gluten-free and dairy-free from the menu. They also have many vegetarian options.

Restaurant Thai & Laos offers mouthwatering flavours from Thai and Laos kitchen. They have two restaurants located in Näsilinnankatu and Suvantokatu. All the dishes are lactose-free and gluten-free.

Sitko Pizza offers menu filled with tasty pizzas, which all can be ordered with gluten free dough and with vegan cheese. In addition, the menu also offers few vegan and vegetarian options.

Restaurant Salsallada serves hungry customers tapas-styled dishes in Näsilinnankatu. Many dishes on the menu are vegan and you can also find multiple gluten-free options as well.

Maahan Deli in the Tampere Market Hall is a is a journey from the pearl of Mediterranean sea and Italian cuisine to the hottest sandy beaches of Persian gulf and persian cuisine.

Cafés

Cafe & Bakery Mimosa is a homey café located in Itsenäisyydenkatu. Most of their selection is vegan.

One of the best views of Hämeenkatu is the citizens enjoying their coffee at the tables of Pella’s Café. This European-style meeting place at the heart of the city offers mouth-watering delicacies also gluten- and dairy free.

Lounaskahvila Papu ja Pata café offers lunch buffet at Kaleva. The buffet’s menu changes everyday and is also all vegan. You can also find traditional as well as vegan pastries and other refreshments at the café.
