The Vaakkolammi-Likokallio nature reserve is located in the Kaarila and Epilä districts, about 4,5 km west of the Tampere city center. A park with equipment and light traffic routes has been built on the north and west sides of Vaakkolammi. Vaakonpuisto has a playground and playing field, as well as a frisbee golf course.
The Vaakkolammi nature trail route goes around the pond and is about 2 kilometers long. As you walk along the trail, you will also get to know the history, flora and fauna of Vaakkolammi and the rock formation called Likokallio. The area is assessed as valuable for its grove and cultural flora.
