Roof Walk Finlayson

After you have explored the streets of Tampere, you should see the city from above! Amazing City takes you to the roof of Finlayson, old textile factory, where you can take the best pictures while experiencing Tampere from a completely new perspective. A unique route on top of the city include stunning sights and historical stories. Participants will travel as one group with a guide, and they are attached to a safety harness that connects to a wire. The guide will guide you safely on the route while telling stories about the history of Tampere.

Amuri Museum of Historic Housing

There is a short 5-15 minute introduction of Amuri Museum of Historic Housing from Tuesday to Sunday at 12:30 pm. On the tour you will learn how the workers’ residential area, Amuri, came into existence. After the introduction, it’s easy to explore the residents and their homes at the museum on your own. The tour is included in the entrance ticket. You can also book a longer guided tour in English by contacting the Museum.

Museum Milavida

There are guided tours in English at Museum Milavida from June to August on Thursdays at 2 pm. The tour provides comprehensive information about the exhibition topics. The tour is included in the admission fee.

Hiking Travel, Hit Tours

Hiking Travel, Hit organizes thematic guided tours in Tampere for groups.  Tours can be organized in English. In addition, they organize guided tours for individual clients as well.
