Morning
Start your day with morning sauna! Tampere is the Sauna Capital of the World and experiencing at least one of our public saunas during your visit is a must. When you start your day with sauna and a dip in to the frozen lake a good wake up is guaranteed and also a great feeling. There are proven health benefits for that! Tampere Market Hall is the pace to visit when you want to meet the locals and enjoy amazing flavors. The Market Hall is buzzing from early hours until afternoon and here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or a cup of coffee with pastries.
How about some fresh air and outdoors for your morning? In Pyynikki Nature Reserve you’ll find outdoor trails, a marked nature trail and an observation tower with its famous dougnuts. Pyynikki ridge is considered the highest gravel ridge in the world and it’s one of Tampere’s most popular recreation areas.
Afternoon
In the World’s only Moomin Museum you get to relive the adventures of the beloved Moomin family the permanent exhibition of Tove Jansson’s original illustrations. Multi-talented Tove Jansson was a skilled illustrator, painter, cartoonist, and comic strip creator. The Moomin Museum showcases a collection of her illustration art, a testament to her enduring legacy. In the museum you can also find a five-storey, over two-metre-tall tableaux of the Moomin House crafted by Tove Jansson’s partner Tuulikki Pietilä, Dr Pentti Eistola, and Tove Jansson herself.

Evening
Tampere by night must be seen from above. Moro Sky Bar at the top floor of Solo Sokos Hotel Torni is open for everybody. Take the lift up and enjoy their cocktails and the amazing views! Restaurant Pons in the city centre also gives you a great view over Tampere during your dinner. They also have a nice cocktail bar.
Finlayson Area is full of history with its red-brick buildings. Make sure to visit Tallipiha Stable Yards as well!
Restaurant Plevna is located in the Finlayson area and they have a lovely glass terrace to enjoy their brewery’s products and hefty dishes.
Late night
